  1. I’m going to Pause before purchase. My study feels cramped and almost at hoarder level. time to focus on creating instead of buying.

    1. My study IS at hoarder level. The rest of the house is good. I am really stuck about clearing out this room. It started out empty. Everything in there, I put in there. I just don’t know what happened.

    – Trunk filled with giveaways.
    – Observing a modified “Shabbat” for 24 hours by turning off all electronics & lights, dedicating time for silent reading, reflecting and planning.

  3. Pause before buying. Use up craft things or give away if no longer interested. Two drawers still to sort in kitchen and things to use up in pantry. Taking it a little at a time. Thanks you for all your support.

  4. Cleared out old books, manuals & artifacts that I haven’t looked at since retiring three years ago. I looked at everything once, recalled the memories & packed the boxes, everything is now gone.

  5. It seems I’ve been a minimalistic my whole life and it’s been more easier to do through the years. My life resonates perfectly with your 8 minimalistic choices and I would add this, when I buy something new that I really need and going to use I let go a similar item which I donate. Appreciate your article, very accurate.

  7. Beautiful insight! I will do away with all the extra things, like clothes, furniture, books, kitchen utensils, etc. try to build a simple and modest life. Focus on upgrading my skills and spending quality time with family. G
