  1. Love it 🙂 what I really like about Airbnb’s that I have been in the amazing beauty of having just enough dishes and blankets and towels but no extras. It feels great. So much less cluttered and overwhelming! It’s like Goldilocks!

    1. Exactly! I have always thought about that. I don’t normally have too many extra linens /dishes but I have friends who are constantly trying to organize linen closets.

  2. Great advice! I too enjoy staying at Airbnb’ s over hotels just for the homey feel. I stayed at an Airbnb in Virginia near where my Grandparents lived before they passed away and I swear the bed we slept in was purchased at their estate sale! Talk about a walk down memory lane and making new memories with my fiancĂ© who I didn’t know when my grandparents were alive! He has since passed away as well as I will forever cherish that weekend we celebrated with my parents and their 50th wedding anniversary. Instead of wasting time on Pinterest I enjoy looking at homes for sale on real estate websites to look for new ideas for my home….homes that are lived in, but not cluttered. I also find this very relaxing during a stressful day of teaching…a little escape if you will.

  3. We live in a Duplex, so we have a little Nespresso machine in our bedroom. As we do not have milk in our coffee we don’t need a fridge. We have coffee in the morning without trekking down the stairs. Lovely way to start the day !

  4. Why ever would anyone want to make their home like a airbnb? Impermanent, not personal, bland and boring. And cheap.
