  1. Thank you,
I started with 15 min. a day in a cluttered area. It works for me.
    I accomplished a lot.
Today, I will work on the hour habit. I will start with my kitchen. Wipe cabinets, unclutter countertop. Wipe up cat puke from floor. Then, mop floor with Lysol. I really like to use my hands with rags; instead of a mop.
I try to wash dishes while I cook. I like to keep up with the kitchen dishes. I don’t like the ceremony of a pile of dishes after I eat.
    Thank you for being there.
    That’s all folks.

    1. I start every meal prep with a basin of hot soapy water, put it on the counter and put washed dishes in the sink. Then all i have to do is rinse. Eat and wash two plates or bowls and a few other things. Makes clean up a cinch. I want to incoporate on shelf or area of the fridge a day to use up stuff, keep it free of experiments and know what i have to use up. The one room or area a day is workable.

  2. Thank you so much. feeling so encouraged and motivated after reading this article. Hope now on I can keep my house tidy. It used to be always overwhelming thinking about how gigantic is the task of cleaning the entire house. also need your advice on inventory of pantry items. (being an Indian and strictly vegetarian) it’s a big task maintaining hundreds of items. be it beans/pulses, different powders(masala) different kinds of rice, thinking about it itself I am getting anxious.

  3. Thank you for the encouraging words. I have been trying to come up with a cleaning routine. I love the idea of setting a timer to stay on task.

  4. I’ve also been trying to develop a realistic cleaning routine. I built one that I thought was fool proof but when life got in the way the routine fell apart. I haven’t been able to pull it back together. I’ll give this method a try for a month and see how it works, how I feel about the daily one hour commitment. Will report back.
