  1. Love it! All these things are so important. With my job it would be easy to take shortcuts but I always try to work as if my clients were watching me and do the best I can do for my own self worth and integrity. I think that really is the key to my business and the fact that I’ve had the same clients for many years.

  2. I find that being open to learning something new everyday is extremely important in growing ones self and their talent.
Procrastination can be detrimental to having a successful day or even a successful career.

    Thank you.

  3. One single habit that helped me throughout my working life is that habit of going the extra mile working much more than what you are paid for.

  4. Your 10 are spot on and I’ve shared with several who would benefit by taking them to heart. Another that might be worth mentioning, although it is implicit in many of the habits listed is to over-prepare for meetings and presentations. Sliding into a meeting having done nothing to prepare for it reflects on how one performs all of their work tasks. Conversely, by taking advantage of this opportunity when you are visible, you can show your employees, peers, and your boss how efficiently and effectively you conduct all of your business. Similarly, being unprepared for a presentation can kill your reputation, but being super prepared can make you a star!
