  2. Decluttering my closets three years ago AND maintaining with continued decluttering has made them a showcase. It’s amazing what the little touch of matching hangers does to eliminate unsightliness. Organizing by seasons and color also makes it simple to decide what to wear. Finally, closets that comprise of only the things that fit my body today means that I have choice without frustration or shame. Brava this post.

  3. Your point #6 (move bulky itemd to another space) is one I don’t always accomplish, but when I do, what a joy!
    I live in Virginia and we have definite seasons, requiring us to own 2 complete wardrobes .When I move the sweaters, heavy skirts , and warm pants out, there’s more room to hang cottons–and they wrinkle less! As I age, I find that I don’t need as much clothing, which also helps cut the clutter.–Anne

  4. Point #6 is so true. Just moving the heavy winter items makes room for the cottons to hang without wrinkling.
